It included a 45-foot-long commissioned mural by award-winning artist and illustrator R. Gregory Christie. Soho, New York City, 2023-2024.
"In Human Time," presented in partnership with the Sheila Johnson Design Center at Parsons School of Design, explored questions of deep time and polar ice loss. "Taking Action" featured hands-on learning about solutions for the climate crisis; a space to confront the barriers to their implementation; and an invitation to group action. It was inspired by the youth climate movement and staffed principally by high schoolers. Governors Island, New York City, 2019.
"Climate Changers of New York," presented in partnership with the New York City Climate Action Alliance, presented large-scale portraits of eleven New Yorkers who are moving us forward on climate. The series by David Noles demonstrated the scope and variety of meaningful climate action and the diversity of climate leaders. Governors Island, New York City, 2018.
The Climate Museum's first Soho exhibition blended art, surprising social science, and action opportunities, leaving visitors inspired about what they can do on climate change. The show began with a new, epic postcard mural by David Opdyke: "Someday, all this". Soho, New York City, 2022-2023.
